About me
Janine Dawkins has over thirty years of progressive experience in transportation engineering, planning, public policy, and legislation, gained at the Ministries responsible for Transport and Works in Jamaica. A Civil Engineering graduate of the University of the West Indies in Trinidad with MS and PhD degrees in the same field from the Georgia Institute of Technology, she is currently at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a 2024/25 MLK Visiting Scholar.
