About me
Dr Mukandila is a mining engineer and civil engineer (with PhD) expert in design and construction of pavements and road materials with more than 20 years global experience among which 15 years were spent in roads construction and design. Dr Estimé Mukandila has in-depth knowledge of infrastructure problems. He has accumulated experience in the fields of mining, construction and rehabilitation of rural, urban and low volume roads, materials testing and construction supervision and management and design. He has university teaching experience since 2000; involved with lecturing at University of Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology, University of Namibia and universities in DR Congo. He gained experience through missions and site works in DR Congo, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Malawi, Cameroon, Nigeria, Lesotho, Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia. Dr Mukandila He has participated in several research projects such as the new South African Pavement Design Method (SAPDM) improvement. He is currently member of the SANRAL research panel.
