About me
Hyungsuk Choi is a senior manager in the design division at Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC). He is currently playing a key role in transitioning the expressway design method from 2D design to BIM-based 3D design. He greatly contributed to improving the expressway design process by establishing BIM-based design standards and providing testbeds for BIM technology development.
Since joining KEC in 2007, he participated in many expressway construction projects as a supervisor to conduct process management, quality control, and safety improvement. He also worked in the structure maintenance division to secure and improve the performance of bridges and tunnels of expressways. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
