About me
Jason Watts is a transportation planning and legal professional with more than fifteen years of experience in project development, complex procurements, environmental project evaluations, and large-scale alternative delivery projects. He currently serves as FDOT’s GEC Program Director, the Moving I-4 Forward Alternative Delivery Lead, and manages HNTB’s Tallahassee and Chipley locations. He previously served as FDOT’s Director of Environmental Management and as FDOT’s Chief Counsel for Contracts. He has experience in Design-Build , Phased Design-Build (including the Westshore Interchange and the Sanibel Causeway Emergency Restoration projects), Modified Phased Design-Build, and public-private partnerships projects. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University and is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida.
