Maryam Ghyabi-White, the CEO/President of Ghyabi Consulting & Management (GCM) and also serves as an adjunct professor of civil engineering at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. In her current role at GCM, Maryam provides leadership and support to position the company at the forefront of the engineering industry. Maryam has represented the firm both globally and locally within the engineering industry and has actively participated in legislative sessions and government functions.
Ms. Ghyabi-White’s career in transportation, engineering, and planning spans over 30 years and includes positions with Ghyabi Consulting and Management, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Volusia County Government. She has had leadership roles on essential projects throughout Volusia County, Central Florida, and the State of Florida, including East International Speedway Boulevard (ISB), I-95/US 1, I-95/LPGA, and the I-4 bridge over the St. Johns River.
Ms. Ghyabi-White and the GCM team has ongoing and experience articulating the transportation priorities of the City to FDOT at both the District and State level, the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (R2CTPO), and other local and state agencies, as necessary. Ms. Ghyabi-White and her team have extensive relationships with city, county, regional and state officials in Volusia County and throughout the state. They regularly interact with other government agencies in the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation priorities.
