After positions in the airline industry, he joined the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs. He worked as counsellor at Netherlands embassies in several Asian countries where he was responsible for transportation, trade and business promotion and innovation related matters.
In 2010 he started in his current position as Director Government Affairs at
Sensys Gatso Group. In close cooperation with government organisations Sensys Gatso Group’s traffic enforcement systems enhance road safety, contribute to better quality of life, a greener, more quiet urban environment and an optimised traffic flow.
Philip is also the chair of the IRF (International Road Federation) Road Safety Enforcement Sub-Committee. He has written several white papers from a government perspective on the implementation of automated traffic enforcement and Public Private Partnerships in traffic enforcement. Philip is a regular speaker on these topics at international conferences and as a partner for governments.
