About me
Seunghyun Jung's major research interest is exploring how geographic information systems (GIS) and database applications can be used to analyze the urban environment depending on different energy and climate change policies on both urban and regional scales.
He received a Ph.D. (2009) in Urban Planning from Hanyang University, Korea. He is involved in several research projects related to urban environmental analysis using G.I.S. applications. Recently, he has been researching about the mitigating method of urban heat island. He works at the Building and Urban Research Institute of KICT (Korea Institute of Civil engineering and building Technology) as a Senior researcher.
